Editorial images

When I set out on my first adventure I had no express intent of ever reproducing my images for anything other than personal enjoyment. I did not therefore gain consent from my subjects to reproduce their images for commercial purposes.

This selection of images are my favourites from those early years, here solely as an adjunct to my portfolio.

I have always enjoyed photographing kids - they have an honesty when looking down a lens that we seem to lose as adults.

Most of the shots here are from kids I met while on homestays in northern Thailand or relaxing on the beach in Zanzibar.
